  • The Canning Data Extraction Tool v5.4

    A major version (v5.4) has now been released for download and upgrade.


Version 5.5 is a major upgrade that includes the complete eHealth report. This version is available only to Western Australian practices that provide influenza vaccination statistics to the WA Health Department using the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination report which has been updated in this version. For enquiries, and to obtain this version, please contact Arche Health.

  • Arche Health and the Improvement Foundation

    In April 2015, Arche Health and Improvement Foundation committed to working together to update and improve The Canning Tool for use in primary health care in Australia. As a result of this partnership the following has been agreed:

    • Improvement Foundation is the Licensee of The Canning Tool
    • Improvement Foundation provides help desk support to end users and;
    • The Canning Tool is the exclusive third party extraction tool that is used to submit data to Improvement Foundation web portal

    Use of The Canning Tool in conjunction with Improvement Foundation’s web portal, qiConnect, provides a number of benefits that extend beyond data collection. qiConnect provides users with the ability to support quality improvement initiatives, benchmark nationally and/or locally against peers, access resources that have been developed through a decade of quality improvement initiatives and network with colleagues through qiCommunity.
